Loved this episode, but one thing was at the begining when Harriet said that she almost kissed Matt, and Jeanie said "Where?", it was pretty much verbatum from the American President. What's raised my eybrow is that it's not the first time Aaron has gone "back to the well". The first one I noticed was in "The West Coast Delay". Where Jordan is getting into her car and her aid (an asian dude) askes her about the book that her ex is writing, he askes womething like "Some of it is true, some of it isn't. Why not release a statement saying this is true, this is made up?" and Jordan responds that "Because writing about it would prolong the story." and some other things. I remember pausing my tivo and thinkg "thats right out of The West Wing" when a former photographer was releasing a tell-all book, and they use almost the same lines to describe to Sam why they shouldn't respond to it. Then in the next ep "The Long Lead Story" they did something else right out of "The West Wing". I don't remember what right now tho. Anyone else catching these things? I didn't watch "Sports Night" so I don't know if he's brought anything back from that show.

Yup! In fact, I've got a list of 'em here. I know it annoys some people but I enjoy it, personally. I have fun picking out the overlaps and Sorkin's a good enough writer that he makes it work just as well the second, and sometimes third time. *g*

I like it from show to show, but it bugged when they would use the same name for multiple characters in the West Wing (Gianelli, Stackhouse, etc...) I understand liking a name, or throwing an 'in' joke for your fans, but to use the same name for 2 or 3 charcters ruins a little continuity credibility (say that 5 times fast)
