Dear webhost, Go die now. Me. Since the website refuses to be updated, I thought I'd just point out the shiny new spoilers for episode 5 at Starz Casting. The site has a casting call for a handful of guest and recurring roles on the fifth episode, which is being written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by David Semel. It seems as though the visit of Tom's parents is going to take up a main plot in this episode - they're visiting from Ohio and come to watch the show. There's some friction between Tom and his father, who "rarely shows much emotion, but the stress of being in unfamiliar surroundings, and putting up with Tom's smart-aleck manners, leads to a bit of an outburst...". There's also what looks like a subplot involving some security guards apprehending an old guy in the Studio 60 lobby. Along with Cal, they try to discover what he's on about. (Am I the only one reminded of CJ's subplot in Noel by this? With the woman and the painting and the snooty British guy? *g*) There's one recurring role listed, that of struggling nineteen-year-old comedian Darius Hawthorne, an intelligent and articulate African-American man. Remind me again, how many sleeps till September 18?
